Netizens, both for and against the RH Bill, have been tweeting their sentiments about the bill since December 12, the morning the bill won 113 vs. 104 on its second reading in Congress.
Most of those who were for the bill expressed their sentiments against the threats made by some Catholic priests against those who are for the bill:
If I die, I will face a loving and understanding God.. Not your bishops who preaches that God despise us all because of RH bill! #ProRHBill

I'm a Christian, but that doesn't mean I don't know when a religious institution is being stupid from lack of foresight. #PRORHBILL

Those who are against the bill, on the other hand, still don't want to give up yet saying that it is not only their religion that tells them to go against the bill but the knowledge that the bill won't do anything to alleviate poverty in the country.
If we lose, we lose. But I'd rather fight then lose, than give up and have never stood up for my principles at all. #NOTORHBILL

When a society embraces a contraceptive culture and mentality, their people lose respect for life #rhbill #NOtoRHBill

As of December 14, 2012, the president has certified the RH Bill as urgent which means it is "no longer subject to the three-day rule," which means it may be approved on third and final reading immediately after hurdling second reading.
